Scissors was crowned winner of The Masked Dancer last night and revealed as American actress and dancer Heather Morris.
The finale of the second series of the show, which aired on ITV, saw Heather compete against two other masked dancers to take the crown.
Heather, who appeared in the hit TV series Glee and performed as Beyonce’s backing dancer, remained un-guessed throughout the series.
She danced to ‘Respect’ by Aretha Franklin to win over the judges who had previously thought Scissors could be Ashley Roberts from The Pussycat Dolls or Dance Moms’ Jojo-Siwa.
Heather, 35, said her two sons, aged eight and six, were the inspiration behind her taking part in the show.
She told host Joel Dommett: “I have had the best time, this has made my heart so full.
“I feel like a little kid again dancing on stage.”
And there were two more dancers unmasked in the final.
Second place dancer Onomatopoeia was revealed to be Australian actor Adam Garcia, 49.
Adam gave judges and viewers subtle clues throughout the series by making reference to Australia and musical theatre.
Third place went to 66 year-old Bruno Toniolo. The well-known Strictly Come Dancing judge performed as Pearly King throughout the series.
The series saw a total of 12 masked dancers battle against each other over eight weeks.
Other stars unmasked throughout the series include:
- Sea Slug – TV presenter Denise Lewis.
- Tomato Sauce – Steph’s Packed Lunch host Steph McGovern.
- Cactus – choir leader Gareth Malone.
- Astronaut – Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe.
- Pillar and Post – former footballer David Seaman and his wife, Frankie Seaman.
- Candlestick – Bake Off’s Liam Charles.
- Pig – Gavin and Stacy star Joanna Page.
- Prawn Cocktail – TV presenter Stacey Soloman.
- Odd Socks – Girls Aloud star Kimberly Walsh.
And you won’t have to wait long for your favourite stars to be unmasked again as sister show The Masked Singer is set to return to screens early next year.
