Rishi Sunak is to take over as the UK’s next Prime Minister and Conservative Party leader
Rishi Sunak is set to become the UK’s next prime minister after Penny Mordaunt withdrew from the Conservative Party leadership race earlier today. He briefly addressed the party in a private conference after results were announced. He will officially take on the position of PM after an audience with King Charles III on Tuesday morning.
Environmental activists have vandalized two more pieces of art
The activists targeted a £96,000,000 Monet painting on display in Berlin by throwing mashed potatoes; before gluing their hands to the floor. This comes a week after Just Stop Oil activists covered a Van Gogh masterpiece in tomato soup. Meanwhile, two supporters of the movement launched chocolate cake all over King Charles’ waxwork in London’s Madame Tussauds.
